Terms of Use for Vaultx

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading and using Vaultx ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
2. Self-Custodial Wallet and Key Management
Vaultx is a self-custodial cryptocurrency wallet. By using the app, you agree to keep secure copies (offline, on paper) of your private keys and passwords. Vaultx and anyone involved in the creation of the Vaultx wallet, including but not limited to app stores, or anyone publicly associated with Vaultx, is not responsible for your private key management. If you lose your private keys or your private keys are stolen, all funds contained in that wallet are lost forever.
3. No Offer of Service
Using the app does not create an offer of service between you and Vaultx, its developers, or its distributors.
4. No Duty of Care
Using the app does not create a duty of care between you and Vaultx, its developers, or its distributors. You are solely responsible for your own actions at all times.
5. Limitation of Liability
By downloading the app, you agree not to hold Vaultx, its developers, or its distributors legally liable for any damages or losses incurred.
6. Responsibility for Transactions
By using the app, you understand that if funds are sent to the wrong address, they cannot be recovered. The recipient of the mistaken address will own the funds, and no transactions can be reversed. You agree to ensure that you are always sending funds to the correct address.
7. Prohibition on Reverse Engineering
By using the app, you agree not to reverse engineer the code, cryptography, or any other component of the app. Vaultx and its developers own the code, cryptography, and every component of the app. Vaultx will pursue full legal rights and seek maximum financial damages if such reverse engineering attempts occur.
8. Prohibition on Malicious Activities
By using the app, you agree not to use the app for attacks, denial of service attacks, or any malicious activities that harm the wider community’s ability to use the app or the blockchain networks where the app is usable.
9. Due Diligence
You agree to perform due diligence into the protocols/networks that Vaultx interacts with, including the blockchain networks where the app is usable. Vaultx, its developers, or its distributors are not responsible for the security or availability of these blockchain networks.
10. No Derivative Value
You understand that Vaultx, its developers, its distributors, or the platform from which you downloaded the app do not derive value from your use of the app.
11. User Responsibility
By using the app and agreeing to these Terms of Use, you acknowledge that you are a sophisticated financial professional capable of managing your own security, actions, and private keys. You also acknowledge that you have obtained independent advice on using the app, and your decision to use the app is entirely your own and has not been influenced by Vaultx, its developers, or its distributors.
